A pet dog was killed in a coyote attack in Bay Village, Ohio, after the wild animal gained access to the fenced-in backyard.
Bay Village police reported the incident on Wednesday, offering their condolences in a Facebook post that read: "It is with a heavy heart that we must report that a local resident's pet dog was attacked in a fenced-in backyard by a pack of coyotes.
